Market Updates 1/10/25

Dear Friends, Vendors, and Community Members,
For the 3rd day in a row we are sending everyone our love and wishes for everyone to stay safe. These fires have heavily affected Los Angeles County, with so many of our friends and community devastated, losing their homes and livelihoods. We have 5 vendors that we are aware of that have lost their homes and so many customers that have lost their homes as well.
For Saturday –
Calabasas will be closed – It is in a Level 2 Evacuation Zone and in speaking with the City of Calabasas we agreed that bringing people to a Level 2 Evac zone is not a good idea. We will return the following weekend. All payments are rolled to the following weekend.
La Canada will be closed – The smoke in the area is still very bad.
Downey will be OPEN.

For Sunday –
Pacific Palisades (Antioch, where 1/2 the market is, is sadly gone) Swarthmore faired better, but the devastation of all the houses and businesses lost in Pacific Palisades is incomprehensible at this point. Palisades will remain closed for the time being.  For those Palisades vendors requesting to join Brentwood or other markets, please be patient with us as Brentwood was completely full so I need to figure out the spacing to be able to add additional vendors.

Brentwood will be open and we will be accepting donations at this location of Gift Cards, New Bedding & Food.

Westlake Village will be open we will be accepting donations at this location of Gift Cards, New Bedding & Food.

Porter Ranch will be open

Melrose will be open

Larchmont Sunday will be open

Channel Islands will be open

Please watch our social media @ccfminc on Instagram and if you would kindly share about the donations that would be wonderful! That should be going up later today.
Again, In light of these circumstances, we want to extend our support to you. If you need anything—whether it’s resources, assistance, or just someone to talk to—please do not hesitate to reach out. We know many of our vendors as well as your customers have been directly affected and the thoughts of our entire team are with everyone who has been impacted. We are all in this together, and our priority is the safety and well-being of everyone involved.
Please stay safe and take care of one another. We will navigate this situation as a united community and come out stronger on the other side.
All our love & support,
Melissa & the Entire Farmers Market team
